Since the establishment of Koa Shoji in 1991, the Japanese generics market has been experiencing drastic changes. In the 1990s, the share of generics was lower than it is now. In the 2000s, the Japanese government started to encourage the use of generics to save social insurance costs. By 2005, the share of generics grew over 30%. And by 2013, it had got over 40%. Finally in 2015, the government decided to give further support to make it grow over 80% by 2020. In 2018, it has grown to over 70%. Now we are going to achieve the goal.

Koa Shoji has never been left behind by this movement. We’ve been surviving in severe competition and leading the Japanese generics business with our sufficient experience, tight relationship with our suppliers and customers, and updating our knowledge and facilities. Our 30-year experience proves the strength of our sales force.
